Polavision Film Transfer

The polavision film cassettes are broken open and the film is hand cleaned and spliced together onto 400' reels.  During cleaning, the sprocket holes are examined and repaired if necessary.

The film is then transferred at a continuous frame rate directly to our computer systems in HDV format.  We then create a 1920x1080 Bluray disc and standard definition version of your transfer.  The raw HDV files are then burned to BD-ROM for you to edit/archive. You can also have your full resolution files saved to hard drive instead of BD-ROM at no charge. (Hard drive must be provided or purchased seperately.)
